Mepass No-Questions-Asked Refund Policy

At Mepass, we aim to provide a transparent and fair refund experience. This policy explains when and how users can request refunds for ticket purchases made through the Mepass platform and Mepass-supported payment gateways.

  1. Eligible Purchases for Refund
  2. Refund requests are only valid for tickets purchased and paid through the Mepass platform using official Mepass payment gateways.

    Important: Tickets purchased via cash at the box office, offline sellers, or third-party resellers are not eligible for refunds unless the payment was processed directly through Mepass.

  3. Refund Eligibility Depends on Purchase Time & Event Date
  4. The refund amount depends on:

    • The date & time of ticket purchase
    • The event date & time
    • The time when the refund request is raised
  5. No-Questions-Asked Refund (100% Refund)
  6. Users can raise a refund request on the same date as the ticket purchase.

    • If the refund is requested within the same calendar date of purchase, the user is eligible for a 100% refund.
    • No explanation or justification is required.
  7. Refund Within 7 Days of Purchase (70% Refund)
  8. If a user raises a refund request within 7 days from the purchase date, they will be eligible for a 70% refund of the ticket amount.

  9. Refund After 7 Days & Before 48 Hours of Event (50% Refund)
  10. If a refund request is made:

    • After 7 days of purchase, and
    • More than 48 hours before the event start date & time,

    the user will be eligible for a 50% refund.

  11. Refund Within 48 Hours Before Event (30% Refund)
  12. If a refund request is raised within 48 hours before the event start date & time, the user will be eligible for a 30% refund only.

  13. Special Case: Purchase Close to Event Date
  14. If a ticket is purchased within 48 hours before the event start date & time, then:

    • The earlier refund slabs (100%, 70%, 50%) will not apply
    • Only the 48-hour rule (30% refund) will be applicable
  15. Event Cancellation (100% Refund Guaranteed)
  16. If an event is cancelled for any reason, Mepass will ensure a 100% refund, regardless of:

    • Purchase date
    • Refund request timing
    • Any prior refund conditions
  17. Event Postponement
  18. If an event is postponed, users will be given two options:

    • Carry forward the same ticket to the new event date
    • OR
    • Claim a 100% full refund
  19. Non-Eligible Refund Cases
  20. Refunds will NOT be provided if:

    • The user arrives late or fails to attend the event
    • The ticket/pass has already been scanned or used
    • The request is made after the event has started or ended
    • The ticket was purchased outside the Mepass payment system
  21. Refund Processing Timeline
    • Approved refunds will be credited within 24 hours of raising the request
    • Actual credit time may vary depending on the bank or payment provider
  22. Final Decision Authority
  23. All refund approvals are subject to Mepass's verification and platform policies. Mepass reserves the right to approve, decline, or partially process refunds in accordance with this policy.

There are no different categories or tiers of services for merchants.

  3. Booking Process
  4. Registration and Booking Procedure:** Merchants can visit our merchant portal or use the merchant application to register as an individual or company and join Mepass as a merchant. 

    Deposit Requirements:** No deposit is required at the time of booking.

  5. Refund Conditions
  6. Non-Refundable Services: Mepass does not initiate refunds for any services offered to merchants. Once a merchant purchases or activates a service for their respective purposes, it is non-refundable under any circumstances.

    Time Frames for Refund Requests:** No refunds are applicable.

  7. Cancellation Policy
  8. Merchant-Initiated Cancellations: Once a merchant registers or purchases any services offered, they are not eligible to cancel those services or request a refund.

    Merchant-Initiated Penalty or Fees for Cancellations:** Cancellations are not allowed, hence no penalties or fees apply.

  9. Non-Refundable Conditions
  10. Non-Refundable Payments: All payments for services purchased by merchants are non-refundable, regardless of the type of service or event.

  12. Unforeseen Circumstances:** In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters or pandemics, the purchased services will remain as a balance in your portal and can be redeemed for future service needs.

  13. Refund Processing
  14. Refund Time Frame:** No refunds are processed.

    Refund Method: No refunds are issued.

  16. Refund and Cancellation Requests:** As no refunds or cancellations are accepted, merchants should not request refunds or cancellations.

    Free Events/Registrations: For free events or events requiring registration, users must follow the specified registration process.

    Deposit Requirements: Generally, no deposit is required at the time of booking unless specified in the event's terms and conditions. Any such requirements will be clearly mentioned under the event's terms and conditions and refund policy.

    Event Cancellation: If an event is cancelled and you purchased the pass through mepass.in using our payment gateway, Mepass will ensure a 100% refund, regardless of purchase date or refund request timing.

    Third-Party Purchases: If you have a ticket purchased through a third party (e.g., event organiser team members, offline sellers, or cash purchases at box office), Mepass is not liable for refunds unless the payment was processed directly through Mepass payment gateways.

    Event Postponement: If an event is postponed, users will be given two options: carry forward the same ticket to the new event date OR claim a 100% full refund.
